A Quranic Verse and Hadith

Verse-------------

And (remember) when We said to the angels: "Prostrate yourselves before Adam.". And they prostrated except Iblis (Satan), he refused and was proud and was one of the disbelievers (disobedient to Allah).

وإذ قلنا للملائكة اسجدوا لآدم فسجدوا إلا إبليس أبى واستكبر وكان من الكافرين

(2:34)

Hadith----------------------------

The Prophet (Salallaahu Alayhi Wa Salaam) said:

"There are three people to whom Allaah will not look at on the Day of Judgment: One who is disobedient to one's parents, a woman who imitates and dresses up like a man and a cuckold who agrees to his womanfolk's adultery. And there are three people to whom Allaah has forbidden Paradise: One who is disobedient to his/her parents, one who is addicted to wine, and one who mentions the favours he has done." (9)
